“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2)
Sometimes we keep our faith in one corner of life—our prayers, our Sundays, our moments of crisis. However, when it comes to the way we perceive the world—how we think about money, relationships, justice, or even our own identity—we borrow our lens from somewhere else: culture, politics, success, or survival.
Yet Jesus never invited us into compartmentalized faith. He didn’t just come to save our souls—He came to redeem our thinking. He came to give us new eyes—a new view of the world. He came to make us see it differently. To see creation as His, people as His, our lives as His.
If our worldview is not shaped by the Word of God (Jesus), then our faith will always feel split—sincere, but shallow. But when Christ becomes both our Savior and our lens, everything changes. We pray, work, love, forgive, fight for justice, and call for righteous living, as one whole person, not a fragmented one.
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). Not just our heart.
“I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else.” — C.S. Lewis
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, renew my mind and reshape my vision. Break down the walls that divide my faith from my daily life. Let me see the world through Your eyes, love with Your heart, and walk in Your truth. May my faith not only comfort me but also transform the way I live and perceive everything around me. Amen.
Final Thought:
Faith that stays private is half-formed. Faith that becomes a worldview is life fully lived.
