Friend, you are a work in progress. I don’t care how old you are or how young you are. You are a work in progress. It doesn’t matter how much you know or how little you know. You’re a magnificent work in progress. It doesn’t matter if anyone else sees it. It doesn’t even matter if you believe it. You are a work in progress. You’re not yet you. You’re still becoming you and you still have a ways to get there. In fact, you may never get there but that’s okay because you are a work in progress. So, stop beating yourself up. And, stop letting others beat you up. You are a marvelous work in progress. Both you and your critics must come to realize that we are all works in progress. Let that truth liberate you, but don’t let that truth enslave you to apathy and inaction. You are a work in progress, but you must let the work progress.
