Luggage at the airport

Luggage

We all have emotional baggage. I do. You do. We all do. Today is the perfect time to begin unpacking that baggage and start the healing process – to let go of the painful memories, mistrust, and hurt that are sabotaging our current relationships. I wish it were as easy to lose emotional baggage as it is for airlines to misplace luggage. Unfortunately, it requires intentional effort to let go of the guilt, anger, resentment, and other destructive emotions we’ve carefully packed away. It boils down to two steps: stop blaming and start forgiving. I know that’s easier said than done, but if we want better relationships, healthier bodies, and happier lives, we have to stop blaming others for our circumstances and start forgiving them.
