Double Dog Dare

It’s been suggested we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give. It’s true. The blessings of success and prosperity are not found by getting as much as we can, but rather by giving as much as we can. I know that’s counter intuitive. It doesn’t seem right. Everyone else is frantically scrambling to get all they possibly can – like a mob at a Black Friday Sale. It seems foolish not to join the fray and fight for our fair share of the limited goodies on the shelves. After all, if we don’t, someone else will. But it’s all an illusion. I’m telling you the truth – getting is not the key to happiness. It never has been, nor ever will be. It’s in giving that we truly receive. Don’t believe me? Try it. I double-dog dare you.
